Designing the Down In The Basement showcase book involved taking photos of individual miniatures including various close up detail shots. To add some interesting dynamics however, we took some wide action shots in miniature terrain and applied digital FX. The affect was images which could be seen as shots taken from a blockbuster Sci-Fi movie or video game.
